The SMART4ENV project was delighted to take part in the Industry’s Climate Change Adaptation Conference, organized within the framework of the ClimaTech4Industry project, a joint initiative led by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry and TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM).
This important event brought together industry leaders, researchers, and policymakers to discuss how innovative technologies can help industries adapt to the challenges of climate change, ensuring resilience and sustainability across sectors.
Representing SMART4ENV, Assoc. Prof. Selda Murat Hocaoğlu and Gizem Çakmak delivered a presentation highlighting smart environmental technologies developed within our project. Their intervention emphasized the role of digital solutions, eco-innovations, and data-driven approaches in supporting industry adaptation strategies while contributing to Europe’s broader goals on climate action and green transition.
Participation in this conference not only strengthened the visibility of SMART4ENV but also created new opportunities for collaboration with industry stakeholders, research institutions, and policy actors working at the forefront of climate change adaptation.
As we continue our mission, SMART4ENV remains committed to driving sustainable solutions and promoting the integration of smart technologies into environmental management practices across Europe and beyond.
